No more Windows XP OEM starting of next January
Thursday, April 12th, 2007Microsoft will end the distribution of Windows XP for OEM manufacturers. This means that after next January OEM built computers will come only with pre-installed Vista operating systems. Unfortunately for new buyers Microsoft’s new OS, Vista still has some problems with drivers software, problems that might be solved until the beginning of next year. The fact is still demand for computers will pre-installed XP operating system clearly shows Microsoft’s intention to implement as fast as it can the new Vista operating system. Windows XP OS has been available from Microsoft since 25th October 2001 and along it is the most widely spread OS on PCs.
